We have all known about the show for ages it's just that CBS has only started putting the info on their front page in the past few days - hence, the "regular" people of the world will now be finding out more about it. I was commenting on how this ad and info page indicated that it's closer to becoming real (count me among those who've been hoping it would never happen). I still think the whole concept is an embarrassment (though, of course I will tune in...) > While I do appreciate some very funny jokes, please don't forward me a > ton of them. Well, as a matter of fact, I just updated a little of my website (very tedious process) and it has a link to the list subscribe form on inxsweb--it has ever since 1997, but now it has the new info. Also, my website is linked on both Kell's memorial site , and unbeknownst to me (I found it the other day) it is linked in the MH tribute section of Andy Gill's website--so that is one way people can eventually find out about the list if they are interested. > > On the other hand, everyone uses Yahoo groups for > pretty much > everything these days, so people would undoubtedly > find us more easily > if we were on there. Yahoo may be a good idea for the future if we get to that point. *extraneous ad at the bottom deleted by respondee* LOL I'm sure more will appear ;-) It didn't used to be so bad, but I have noticed more ads recently. Well, now they're doing it in the name of preserving Michael's legacy. See article written by Dan Jones. They had Jon Stevens, who i must say was perfect for the job, did great live ( i saw them 5 times together), they made killer tracks together ( i get up went as far as #1 on the portuguese radios, hungry is great). So it feels like they are doing exactly the opposite of what they have done in the past, wich was patiently tour and gather a wide fan base and RELEASE new stuff, i believe that is what Jon Stevens wanted and not INXS, so they are trying to get massive by this rockstar thing...i really doubt it. So far we got about 10 compilation cd's, re-releases and nothing really new. If they didn't feel confortable enough to make a new album with their mate Jon Stevens, who toured with them for 3 years, will there be a chemistry between them and some wannabe rockstar that will be chosen by tv viewers and music industry vip's or something???? ( as far as i know INXS will only have 1/3 of the sayings on the winner...) I am a huge INXS fan but really can't be excited about this whole rockstar thing, in fact since 1997 all we got was a bunch of comps with some polished tracks from the vault, and a brilliant new single with JS, very little for almost a decade.
