I know "selling out" isn't what it used to be, but sheesh, a Chevy truck commercial? I'd have hoped the guys would sell out with some class, like Sting and his Jaguar ad, or Clapton and his Astin Martin (I believe it was) spot from several years ago. At least those ads (I'm thinking of the Sting one in particular), treated the artist with some respect, gave Sting some mutual recognition, and just seemed really well done. But INXS and a pick up splashing through mud? I don't think so. Perhaps if they'd eliminated the vocals I would have a different opinion, but with it the song totally intact like this, it just seemed like a sad commentary on what's became of the band's commercial success (or lack thereof) in the US. ON a slightly different note, didn't Chevy try to use Devil Inside several years ago (in a slightly modified non-vocals version) and find themselves forced to pull the ad when the band got wind of it? If so, this seems really ironic that they've now been given the band's blessing. I've seen the ad, and it's nice to see/hear some INXS. These days if you don't have a sexy video with a bunch of big-breasted girls, chances are you won't be seen on MTV. I've come to realize that if you are a musician and you choose to make a living at it, you almost have to make certain concessions. This isn't such a new idea, but it's become more of an issue with the recent flooding of cheesy teenage pop. Moby's current cd "Play" became the first cd to earn the distinction of having every song used in a commercial. I no longer see this as selling out but BUYING IN. Most of my favorite artists, who coincidentally have critical acclaim, but not much commercial success, have day jobs. You do what you have to do to keep doing what you love to do. I'm not sure how this applies to INXS in this stage of their career, but I'm sure they had to give some kind of consent unless the song was in public domain (and I'm guessing a 15 year old (?) song is not yet in public domain. Maybe the guys are using this as a vehicle to remind the public of their heyday and prepare them in some way for what's to come. What is to come? Yes, I was pretty appalled by that too. I'd prefer them doing Sea World over Chevy trucks though--I know it's splitting hairs, but SW seems a bit better to me than a pick up ad. Mercifully, the SW ad didn't run for long, or in as heavy rotation as the Chevy ad. > Somethimes its not about making money ...Its not as if they need it or > anything... Why else would someone do this, if not for the money? It's not like the guys all love to drive Chevy trucks! I can't think of one single reason for them to do this OTHER than to make money. And honestly, Chevy wouldn't do it if they didn't think the song would help sell the trucks--it's ALL about money, whether people like to admit it or not, that's how the world works. You cannot say that their agreeing to sell the song to Chevy was part of a grand plan to promote their "artistic vision." > It sounds to me that some of you would jump at the chance to sling mud > yourself..(on the band) This isn't true. By my saying they sold out in a cheep and tacky way, I'm criticizing a business decision the band has made, not the band themselves or their music. Furthermore, this wouldn't be the first bad business decision they've ever made. Sometimes it seems a wonder that they ever got to the places they did, given their "management" over the years, and other poor, short-sighted decisions they made. > Always a fan, Yes, we all all, that's why we're still here. (maybe i'll see if i can dig it up for some winter-break reading:). ) here's the description from amazon: "By turns a dream of electrifying eroticism recounted by a young woman to her analysis, Sigmund Freud, and a horrifying yet calmly unsensational narrative of the Holocaust, this PEN Silver Pen winner is now recognized as a modern classic that reconciles the nightmarish with the transcendent." there were also a lot of positive reviews on the site: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0140231730/o/qid=976135006/sr=2-1/104-2772922-8315955) and while i'm at it, here's a synopsis of "siddhartha" as well: "In the shade of a banyan tree, a grizzled ferryman sits listening to the river. Some say he's a sage. He was once a wandering shramana and, briefly, like thousands of others, he followed Gotama the Buddha, enraptured by his sermons. But this man, Siddhartha, was not a follower of any but his own soul. Born the son of a Brahmin, Siddhartha was blessed in appearance, intelligence, and charisma. In order to find meaning in life, he discarded his promising future for the life of a wandering ascetic. Still, true happiness evaded him. Then a life of pleasure and titillation merely eroded away his spiritual gains until he was just like all the other "child people," dragged around by his desires. Like Hermann Hesse's other creations of struggling young men, Siddhartha has a good dose of European angst and stubborn individualism. His final epiphany challenges both the Buddhist and the Hindu ideals of enlightenment. Neither a practitioner nor a devotee, neither meditating nor reciting, Siddhartha comes to blend in with the world, resonating with the rhythms of nature, bending the reader's ear down to hear answers from the river." hope some of you find this information useful! best, meghann From: "Leah Sungenis" To: "Multiple recipients of INXS-List" Sent: Tuesday, December 05, 2000 7:36 PM Subject: INXS: Re: aula's Things On Tue, 5 Dec 2000 16:36:22 -0500 "K WithaKris" writes: > > THAT is disgusting! dirty dishes? did they at least change the > sheets on the > bed where she dies? But you have to ask yourself why it is happening. The most likely explanation is that Paula died in debt and the creditors have put a claim on all her things. They deserve their money. The only other explanation is that Paula specified such a thing in her will, or the executor of the estate has decided to do it. Does anyone know who her executor is? Or what her will said? I haven't heard a word. Let's face it, heroin is VERY expensive. She was probably in debt up to her ears. This is one more thing Tiger will have to deal with when she grows up, that stuff of her Da's was sold to pay her Mom's heroin debts. This was posted on the official Michael Hutchence website... THANK GOD!!! :-) 6th December 2000 Re Sun newspaper report Paula's close friend and executor of her estate, Belinda Brewin, told me on the phone from London that the Sun newspaper report was a pack of lies. Apparently the Sun sent two reporters to the house who posed as interested buyers. Whilst one reporter kept the estate agent busy downstairs the other went upstairs and took photos of Paula's bedroom and other areas and wrote up a sensational story. There were no items in the house of memorabilia belonging to either Michael or Tiger Lily as Belinda had removed these after Paula's tragic death. The Sun story therefore appears to be a hoax - a very cruel one thanks to the lack of integrity by Mr Murdoch's editors. Belinda has commenced legal proceedings against the Sun. I have just finished reading "Just a Man" and I've also read "Burn". While I cannot say that either was enjoyable, that was only because of the subject matter. It so sad reading about Michael's life and knowing there can't be a happy ending. I found "Just a Man" the best because it was such a personal account. As it is written by his sister and mother obviously this would be the case but I felt more inclined to believe in this book because of the source. We all know about Chinese Whispers and how a story that passes through two, three or four people can dramatically change each time that it's told. I have become very cynical about everything I read no matter who wrote it. Even when the author sincerely believes what the writing is the truth it is not always so and then of course there's the writers (Tabloids and Magazines especially) that just go for sensationalism. However I also took into account that everyone's perception of events is clouded by their personal beliefs and no one has a perfect memory a lot of the book is drawn from faxes and letters that Tina & her mother have kept over the years. (I wish I was that organised) I therefore think that that adds a lot more credibility to the book. Anyway I thoroughly recommend "Just a Man" but it is still sad to read. Here it is, read for yourselves, and please tell me your opinions of it. Hutchence Vowed to Pull "a Kurt," Source Says by Joal Ryan Dec 1, 1997, 2:00 PM PT Outwardly, Michael Hutchence was nobody idea's of a neurotic, Woody Allen hypochondriac. The INXS rocker was a leather-pants, Jim Morrison kind of guy. But a new London newspaper report suggests that the flamboyant singer may not have been all that. The report, from the News of the World, claims that Hutchence--found dead hanging from a leather belt in a hotel room in his native Australia November 22--was driven to suicide because he feared he had a malignant brain tumor. "We told Michael the headaches [he complained of] were caused by drink mixed with drugs," a source, identified as a "member of the singer's entourage," told the newspaper. "He even had a scan and was given the all-clear. But he felt the doctors got it wrong." The reputed insider says Hutchence spoke of how he'd do "a Kurt" before he allowed cancer to sap him of his ability to write and perform music--"a Kurt," in this case, being an apparent reference to Kurt Cobain, the troubled Nirvana frontman who killed himself in 1994. The newspaper also reports that Hutchence wrote two "very important" letters the night before he died. One of the notes is reportedly earmarked for Paula Yates, the former British TV personality and ex-wife of rocker Bob Geldof who planned to marry Hutchence in January. Authorities have not officially ruled Hutchence's case a suicide--although that's where they've indicated they're leaning, in spite of tabloid reports that the 37-year-old singer accidentally hung himself while practicing an oxygen-deprivation masturbation game. Some 2,000 fans, friends and family members attended funeral services for the showman last Thursday. The ceremony, televised live on Australian TV, provided another chapter to this increasingly bizarre story: Mourners ranged from lover Yates, who wore a dyed-black wedding dress, to ex-lover Kylie ("Locomotion") Minogue, who wore six-inch silver stilettos, to lounge lizard Tom ("It's Not Unusual") Jones. Yates sobbed as INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart" played in the cathedral. Music was also provided by rocker Nick Cave, who performed "Into My Arms"--a rendition that was interrupted when a man in the church's balcony started cussing and yelling, "He's dead! He's dead!" Emotions reportedly ran high before the ceremony, too. Hutchence's mother, Pat, was seen pushing Yates and telling her, "You killed him--you and your own problems," according to the News of the World. (Last week saw Yates' assignation of spiritual blame for the hanging death--her suspect being Bob Geldof.) Yates and Pat Hutchence are said to be in a tug-of-war over Hutchence's ashes. Yates wants to take them back with her to Britain; the family wants them to stay in his homeland. From: "Dawn aka Angel" To: "Multiple recipients of INXS-List" Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 11:06 AM Subject: INXS: Re: e: e: Tiger Lily Custody I think that Tiger is best off with Bob. As much as I hate to admit it, Bob is a fine, capable father to his own children, and should be to her as well. No disrespect to Paula, may she rest in peace, but I think the main reason Michael hated Bob the way he did was because Paula had him on her side, had him thinking from her point of view, and he couldn't look at things from both sides. I think Tiger may be hurt or angry when she's older and find out, but if she's anything like her father she'll understand why it's right this way. I believe Bob truly cares about Tiger and so far is doing well with her, trying to keep her away from the public eye (though it must be tough with the custody battles that were going on), and for the first time since I knew who Bob Geldof was, I trust him, and I think he'll be good to her. I used to like to watch E!, but I just find them to be another gossip tabloid station who most of the time can't get their facts straight. I don't like article that you pasted, but I am not blaming you. This is just my two cents worth on what I think about it . I do remember seeing an interview with Michael in a limo and said he would never commit suicide and even talked about the death of Kurt. If I remember right he said it was a selfish act. I don't remember exactly what was said, but it was something on that line. I am not trying to start any controversy here, but I still don't believe that Michael committed suicide. Maybe I'm still in denial, but I still think it was an act gone wrong, but that's just my opinion and I know people beg to differ. I agree with you completely. I think that Paula liked the chaos of having 2 men pulling at her, and I think she fed this situation between Michael and Bob. It was obvious in the rest of her life, that she did not like a pot that was not boiling all the time. She could have easily solved the problem with Tiger in November of 1997, by flying Tiger down to OZ, leaving her with Michael and his family and returning to London if she felt she had to be with her other daughters. Lots of families do that every holiday when there has been a divorce in a family. But she liked the HIGH DRAMA of their international situation. And I think that Bob has tried to keep the media from the family since Paula's death. So I have had to change my original feelings about Bob, after 3 years of stepping back a bit from the shock of November 1997. In my humble opinion. This child needs a family and don't forget she has 3 sisters wether you like it or not. So don't say she has no relation to Bob. He is the father of her sisters. I wasn't happy at first when i heard that Bob was to take care of Tiger but the only thing that matters now, is not if we like Geldoff or not, but the most important thing is Tiger's hapiness and future. I think that Geldoff will be able to put aside his hatred and bitterness and concentrate on himself to go on raising these children. Again, im not judging your opinion, but keep in mind that both Paula and Michael are gond and Tiger is here, alive and in need of love and happiness. Tina was prepared to move to Australia to raise Tiger there as per Michael's wishes and to me that shows love and commitment. The main thing worrying me is that Tiger being a bonsai of Michael, how will that impact on Bob as there was no love between him and Michael and also is Bob going to be as loving to Tiger as his own blood daughters, will she ever be told the truth about her real father as to how much he loved her "I love her so much that it hurts" were Michael's words and when he was alive and Paula was set up with the drug bust the common concensus was that Bob was involved as he had keys to the house which was his old house while Paula and Michael were in Australia and after that incident he tried to get gaurdianship of Tiger then and Michae was beside himself..... I am very worried and concerned for Tiger's welfare and Imagine how Patricia and Tina must be feeling!! In the "New Idea" magazine dated 2/12/00 There was an article of Tiger's reunion with Tina and Patricia and they looked so happy together, in one picture Tina and Tiger actually looked like mother and daughter. None of us really have any right to say what's right for Tiger. She will have her own feelings when she's old enough to understand this all, she will have her own feelings about Bob, whether we agree with them or not. She will have her own feelings about Michael's family as well. Because she's the daughter of 2 celebreties she will have people trying to influence her to see things the way they do, trying to turn her against Bob, trying to turn her against the family, she'll have that all her life, and why? Because she was born into the public eye, something she never asked for. I know I may sound hypocritical, with the website I had with her pics (which is now shut down), etc., but from here on I will not discuss Tiger's situation with this list unless I have something I feel I really need say. The only mention of Tiger you'll hear from me is how much I care about her, and how much she means to me. First of all British law is such that if one person makes an application for custody of a child and another comes along; the second person must get permission from the first to PRESENT an application. To me this in itself is counteractive. Of course the first person is going to do everything he can to stop any other applications. After assuring me twice that he would not fight an application by me, or stop me from seeing or having contact with my niece,(documented on September 29 and November 1)he refused to even answer my request to join. In fact Bob Geldof did not even tell me that he had put in an application. He was always very nice on the phone and assured my mother that he was just allowing Tiger and her nanny to stay in his home. It wasn't until I was given a copy of his application in the last week of November that I found out that he had instructed his attorney to begin proceedings just hours after Paula was found. At the last minute(30 minutes before entering court in November) Bob had his attorney refuse my request. The official solicitor representing Tiger Lily then pulled back and changed his mind. We then went to court on December 14 and Bob's attorney presented a detailed document - with several erroneous statements, incorrect dates, etc, all designed to paint me as not deserving to put in an application; the judge then decided that Tiger would be perfectly fine in Bob's care. Which means a series of nanny's will be caring for Tiger. I can only go by the events that have taken place in the last three months.......and by the things that Michael had to say about Geldof in his last year - and I know for sure Tiger will have little if any contact with her father's family. For instance not only did Geldof make it next to impossible for my mother and I to see her while we were in London (which is something we have not detailed or told the press) he has so far not answered a request by me to speak with her on Christmas eve., he has not acknowledged that she or her half sisters have received the gifts I have sent, the faxes and cards and letters have gone unnoticed also. I resorted to sending Tiger self addressed, stamped postcards to send back to me. I do not believe that this man is doing this in the interest of Tiger Lily. It will be a long time before she knows her father as his family knew him. She is not surrounded by people who can give her an essence of who he was. One day she will want to know and she will be a very confused individual when she finds out that the man she has been calling 'Daddy' was part of her real father's desperation. But Michael seem to be unfocused in his life and wasnt it up to the produces to put the finishing touches on the songs. I thought the album was a huge insight into things. But like I said .. Also was nice to hear Michael mentioned as one of the "sexiest rockers" on VH1 the List yesterday .. tho probably a rerun .. but he still didnt make it into the top 3 .. but kept mentioning how he WAS the modern day Jim Morrison .. and being a Doors fan and like Michael, read alot about Jim .. I find the comparison flattering. One lil footnote about Tiger. Is Bob's custody of Tiger ... PERMANENT????? I think right now she does need a stable surrounding until she is a lil older and have her sister's around her. Why does Kelland think Bob is best right now? It appears that since Michael's death, Bob has been the only person in this horrible situation to remain quiet and attempt to keep some sort of dignity. He has not answered any of the things said about him and according to Paula in an interview with one of those Brit mags last year, (Hello or OK!), she and Bob had not only made peace, she had stayed with him in his home at times. Apparently he helped her out some times when she needed it, along with others she needed to lean on. Somewhere in the mess of everyone's disparate points of view is the truth -- but none of us who are outsiders will ever know it. And why should we? Although we are all curious, Paula/Michael/Bob/Tiger et al is really none of our business, though it seems as if many people involved have made it ours, oddly. These type of emails always manage to piss me off, because taking out one's frustration on some of the List emails by saying, "that's it, I'm leaving" just isn't useful. I haven't said a word on this whole Tiger story -- because quite honestly, it just doesn't really matter to me. Rather than get upset about some of the inane comments that are written here (and believe me, there are many many inane emails that float by) -- I just hit delete when I see certain people posting, or hit delete for certain subject headings. It has really helped me to cut down on the emails I could care less about. As for only checking the official website, I suppose that's definitely an alternative for some -- myself I don't care to read only that which is officially sanctioned. That's only ever a small side of the truth. But to each their own! Firstly the British law is very clear about custody cases which I quote here as follows: "1. The two parties to any court proceedings are the claimant and the defendant. 2. Having commenced proceedings, another party ( in this case, Tina) may wish to intervene in those proceedings, i.e., join in the proceedings. 3. In order to join in the proceedings, the "intervenor" must demonstrate to the court that, if they are allowed to join in the proceedings (and thus become a party to those proceedings) they would in the long term have a "good arguable" case i.e. one that is likely to be successful. If they cannot show that they have a case which is likely to be successful at trial, then they are prevented from joining in the proceedings in the first place. That obviously makes sense because otherwise anyone could join in anybody else's case even if the "intervenor" has a hopeless case. That would have the effect that cases become protracted and more expensive for all parties concerned. 4. If the Court takes the view that the intervenor does not have a "good arguable" case they are not allowed to join in the proceedings." The rest is history as the Court found that the defendant did not have a good case. If Tina can't accept the Court's decision it is her problem and no one else's. I know for a fact that Bob Geldof acted quickly after the tragic death of Paula, to stop the State from committing Tiger to an institution for orphans and that he has done all he can to bring Tiger and her sisters together as they love each other very much. He also gave Tina and her mother every opportunity in London to see Tiger and all relatives will have every opportunity to have access to Tiger in the future. I doubt there is one person involved in this ongoing saga without an agenda or motive. I'm confused now and I am afraid I have lost count -- are we supposed to like Bob Geldof this week or hate him again? As for me, I've mostly come down on the side of Bob, I think like others he has at least attempted to act in the best interest of his family. He may not always be right but I have a diffi cult time casting him in the role of the devil in which he has often been portrayed. The fact that he usually chooses to remain silent may make it harder for him and his family but he does retain some dignity. But this is more than a passing topic or political discussion etc...But personal a child's life...... none of us (accept for a few who may be on this list) never actually knew Michael Hutchence, Paula Yates or any of the family We only know of the manufactured image of him that the bands managers and publicists wanted us to see right from the start...... Ultimately Michael Hutchence was a commercial commmodity, manufactured for monetary gain of those around him and himself at the same time. Even if it was 'art' ultimately it was a commercial enterprise. Unfortunately his child is stuck with the remants of this commercialisation and will have to live with this legacy of commercialisation attached to her name. LeeAnn From: "Ashlynne F" To: "Multiple recipients of INXS-List" Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2000 8:01 AM Subject: INXS: INXS Singer Had Discussed Suicide with U2's INXS Singer Had Discussed Suicide with U2's Bono LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Australian rocker Michael Hutchence, who killed himself in 1997, had discussed suicide with U2 singer Bono who now feels guilty that he let his friend slip through the cracks, Rolling stone magazine said on Wednesday. In the upcoming issue of the magazine, Bono said that they had both agreed how ``pathetic'' suicide was, ``(a)nd we kind of promised each other we wouldn't, we wouldn't cross that line where things get stupid.'' Hutchence, charismatic frontman for rock band INXS, broke that promise in November, 1997, when he hanged himself in a Sydney hotel room. A coroner determined that Hutchence had been depressed about a custody battle between his lover, Paula Yates, and her former husband, singer Bob Geldof. Bono wrote a song about Hutchence called ``Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of,'' which appears on the new U2 album ``All That You Can't Leave Behind.'' ``That song is an argument. It's a row between mates. You're kind of trying to slap somebody around the face, trying to wake them up out of an idea. In my case it's a row that I didn't have while he was alive.'' Describing himself in the Rolling Stone interview as a deeply loyal friend, Bono recalled feeling guilt, anger and annoyance when hearing of Hutchence's death. He said the tune was a ``really tough, nasty little number,'' because he felt it would be disrespectful to Hutchence to write a ``soppy'' song. The issue containing the article is due out on Dec. 29. U2 are featured on the cover as band of the year, as determined by the magazine's critics. From: "Mario" To: "Multiple recipients of INXS-List" Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2000 9:14 AM Subject: INXS: NIC: from Kelland Hutchence This message is addressed only to those listed on this list - I am sorry to have inadvertently involved Mario in this family matter started by Tina in her statement of Wednesday 20 December. I tried to get listed on this site on 24 December but there was no one in attendance due to holidays. I therefore asked Mario if he could forward it for me which he kindly did as I knew he was on the list. He did not deserve the nasty emails sent to him by Tina! The situation on this Tiger matter has become ludicrous. Frankly, I felt Tina's statement needed an opinion from a source which knew something about what was transpiring re Tiger. What I stated in the four points listed in my previous email came from a London lawyer and was not made up by me. As for Tina going on about her using the name Hutchence - well I divorced her mother some twenty five years ago and regrettably our relationship seemed to really end then and the rest of the story would fill yet another book. As for Tiger and the custody hearing, I had a choice as to whom I would support and it came down quite clearly in favour of Sir Bob. Tina apparantly cannot accept that nor does she want to accept the ruling of the court. I felt that Tiger should remain with her sisters and the loving extended families she had come to know and trust. Also her sisters wanted her to be with them for there is a loving bond between them. Besides, Paula had no time for Patricia and Tina or for me either and stated in her will that we grandparents were to have nothing to do with Tiger, except at the discretion of the executors. Furthermore I was advised that it was very unlikely that the Court would allow Tiger to be removed from its British jurisdiction so the chances of her going to the USA or Australia at that time seemed very remote. I should mention that although I did not "join in" in the proceedings I told the Court that I and my wife Susie were very keen to have custody of Tiger if Sir Bob was not granted custody, but for the reasons already stated I did not think there was even a slim chance at that time of either myself or Tina getting custody. And after all, the subject was totally about what was best for Tiger - nothing else - no ego contests! Furthermore, I had nothing to do with Sir Bob or his lawyers about custody matters prior to the Court hearing. The executors and Sir Bob have made it quite clear to all grandparents and other relatives that they can have reasonable access to Tiger. The Court will not be impressed by these matters being raised on the internet as Tina should know that the hearing was a private one with no statement released by the the Court. But I cannot let all of this go by without some comment. I would dearly love to counter all of Tina's frivolous claims made against me but I cannot match her spite and so I am withdrawing from these matters right now. THIS IS THE FINAL STATEMENT I WILL MAKE PUBLICLY IN THESE MATTERS - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH - MAY WE ALL HAVE PEACE AND GOODWILL IN 2001. Happy New Year to all and may God bless the memory of our beloved Michael and the welfare of his darling daughter Tiger Lily. I (personally) see this as a transistion phase for Tiger to meet and get to know her REAL family (not saying that her sisters aren't REALLY family, but Bob surely isn't). And this time should be for Tiger to get used to her blood relatives. When 12 months is up, this could be a good time for someone else, be it Tina, Patricia, Kell or Rhett even, to step in and perhaps seek custody of Tiger. I think at the moment, the court's decision is the best one, that for the next 12 months Tiger should be with Bob, just because, she's been through so much as it is in her small life, she doesn't need a huge change, and needs to be surrounded by things and people she feels secure with. Just imagine being that age and torn from the ppl and places you've known forever to totally different place and faces you've seen but probably don't even remember cos you're too young. Right now she needs stability, and this twelve months should give her that, and as I said above get her used to ppl/places, where she may end up going. However, I don't think Tiger should stay forever with Bob. He is not a blood relative, and as I read in a recent article (an interview with Patricia) that she called him Dad once or so. Imagine how Michael would feel about that???? I know I sure as hell wouldn't want a kid of mine calling someone else Dad. (Not that I have kids yet though!) One thing that I have thought about though is, what about Paula's family. I don't really know all that much about her side of the family, but I think I recall hearing something about her family being estranged. I wonder if Tiger knows her other Grandma/Nan or Grandad/Pop???? OR her other aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Has anyone thought about that???? Well I'd just like to finish by saying, this is only MY opinion. It may or may not be what REALLY is best for Tiger, but it is as I see it. You can have your own opinions, but thanks for letting me voice mine. And lastly, I tired writing this, not trying to pick sides, either Tina or Kell. I think they should sort things out themselves. I think the information they've both presented is informative, and I thank them for sharing it on the list, but one thing I coudl do without seeing or reading from them, is the snide remarks, etc, I see and hear enough of them from my own family. I know family disputes can be tough, but they should be kept private, the other information and comments are most welcome, but keep the rest priveate. Thanks for listening to me jibber for so long. Paula's father Hughie Green died and Paula did not know that he was her father until recently. Paula's father Jess Yates (who she thought was her dad) I think he died aswell. Please do not quote me on all this information but I am pretty sure Paula did not have much family who would be able to take care of Tiger. I think it is brilliant for Tiger to be with her sisters, it would be nice for her too to make a fresh start in Oz but who are we to dictate anothers life.
